They discuss the idea in detail and established The Textile Association (India) Delhi on 15th August, 1965 which is affiliated to The Textile Association (India). Delhi Unit of TAI is registered under Societies act and is managed by its Managing Committee. TAI Delhi is making its contribution to the PM’s ‘Make in India’ campaign and the Government’s Vision to power-drive the Textile Sector. TAI Delhi has more than 2700 Life, Patron & Corporate members. TAI Delhi regularly organizes various useful activities like seminars, workshops, industry visits, industry - institute interaction and social get-togethers etc. for its members. TAI Delhi has been awarded with the Best Unit Award a number of times and many of its members have been honored with Service Gold Medal, Service Memento & Industry Excellence Award. It has also achieved the historic milestone of winning Best Unit Award 5 times during the period of last 7 years.
